Trainee/Experienced Admin / Purchasing Officer 
 
We have a busy Photo, Video, Studio and Audio store in Ellerslie, and an online store. We work in a fun environment and have a small friendly and progressive team, selling contemporary and innovative products to the photography and videography market.

Our business has been going for 15 years and is growing. Some of our clients include Weta, TV1, TV2, TV3, NZ Police, etc and we are involved in creating product and instructional videos, and doing workshops.

As we are a fast-paced, growing business, we are needing versatile staff who will not only fulfil their assigned role(s) but who can also work in other areas of the business.

About the role
We're looking to fill an long-term role in our fast-paced and growing business. The Admin / Stock Purchasing officer will play a key role in with managing our stock and placing orders locally and internationally and general office duties. You will be responsible with identifying opportunities for new items to stock and improvements to support the business. 
You will need to be proficient in Excel. We will not only need you fulfil their assigned role(s) but who can also work in other areas of the business when required

TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THE RIGHT PERSON

Requirements

Proficient in Excel
Excellent communication skills
Excellent time management and attention to detail
Customer Service Ability
Ability to work in a team
Photo / Video Experience a plus
Mac Experience a plus
Photoshop Experience a plus
Be a NZ Citizen or Resident
Loyal and reliable (this is a long term position)
100% clean criminal history (checks are carried out)
Prepared to go through a proficiency test
Relevant Skills

A background in the Photo and Video industry is an advantage with a good knowledge of equipment and a willingness to learn & grow your knowledge.
Training will be provided to the successful applicant. Rate will be commensurate to applicant's experience. Full time approx 40 hrs per week. You may be required to work Saturdays.
