We only accept applications from existing customers who have traded with us previously.
Photoshack will provide you with excellent customer service and after-sales service. If you have queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. Most concerns can be resolved quickly to everyone’s satisfaction.
You will be sent an confirmation email straight after an order.

Most orders are transported by Courier Post.
Please email us if your parcel has not arrived within the target delivery times listed below.
Track and trace service is available on all parcels. We will provide you with your tracking number.
We offer combined shipping on multiple product orders, check shipping details on checkout.
We ship to Australia on request, please ask for a quote.
Items are usually dispatched by the end of the working day, if the order is fully confirmed with all payments cleared by 1pm, Mon - Fri.
Below are the target delivery times. This is a guideline only and is not absolutely guaranteed. Weather and road conditions may also affect delivery.
Auckland & North Island: 1 working day
South Island: 2 working days
Rural / RD: add 1 extra working days to standard target delivery times.
Saturday Delivery: extra charges apply & please ring to enquire availability.
Any variation, waiver or cancellation of the customer's order is not valid unless submitted in writing/email and accepted by Photoshack.
Where the customer had chosen to pay by credit card and payment has already cleared, please ring us on 09 579 1155 and email your request asap to stop processing and dispatch of the order. We are unable to cancel or change an order once it has been dispatched.
DAMAGED GOODS OR GOODS LOST IN TRANSIT
Claims for damaged goods or goods lost in transit must be made against the courier company concerned directly. We cannot accept liability for goods damaged or lost in transit however details of any claim should be advised to us immediately. Please note damaged or lost items in transit must be reported to the courier company concerned within 24 hours, or the courier company may not honour your claim.
We are not liable for any consequent damages as a result of using any goods or products we may supply.
Due to the prevalence of credit card fraud, it is to our own discretion to allow overseas orders placed on a credit card. If you are unsure, please contact us first before placing your order.
If paying by bank transfer, the amount to be transferred is to be ascertained at the time of ordering as buyer is required to cover for the bank fees incurred on both sides.
10 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE
It is the buyer's own risk to buy remotely without seeing or trying, with only the online description/s. Although we try our best to keep our descriptions as detailed and clear as possible, we take no responsibility for the possibility of claimed distortion of descriptions and photos.
We provide our buyers 10 Day Money Back Guarantee to lower this risk under the following terms:
The buyer needs to email us to arrange return within 2 days of receiving the product and send out the product within 5 days.
The buyer has the obligation to return the product and original packaging in resalable condition to our warehouse at the buyer's own cost. Safe transit is at the buyer's responsibility. Shipping cost is non-refundable.
Please note that products purchased as part of a set cannot be refunded individually.
Buyers must check item for faults or damages immediately and report it to the seller via e-mail within 48hrs of receiving items. We reserve the right to refuse claims made after this time frame.
Photos may be requested from Buyer as proof of damage.
Buyer is liable for the postage fee to return faulty/damaged product for warranty and exchange unless otherwise arranged.
Products must be returned with all accessories including their original packing materials, cartons and boxes.
Refunds will only be offered on items that are “dead on arrival” i.e damaged in transit or defective and we are unable to repair the item or provide a replacement of equal or greater functionality.
We reserve the right to first repair or replace the product before a refund is considered. Please note that products purchased as part of a set cannot be refunded individually.
Refunds will not be offered if items are not compatible with buyers system OR buyer is unable to operate or assemble item. Buyer must ensure that systems are checked for compatibility prior to purchase/bidding.
Refunds will not be offered after the item has been used.
After 10 days, refunds will not be offered if buyer changes their mind, or if item is 'not what you expected'.
Original postage charges are non-refundable.
All items must be returned to us for full assessment before a refund will be issued.
We supply 1 Year Manufacturer's Warranty on the majority of our products.
Consumables such as video tapes are not covered by warranty.
Due to the nature of bulbs / flash tubes used for video / flash lighting warranty does not cover these items or any subsequent damage caused by bulbs blowing.
Subsequent damage from faulty or misused items sold by Photoshack is not covered by our warranty. For instance, if a camera strap breaks, and there is damage to the camera, we are only liable for repaire / replacement or refund of the camera strap.
Studio lights used without surge protectors are not covered by this warranty.
Products that require a local power supply and are used overseas are not covered by this warranty.
NO TOLERANCE POLICY REGARDING FRAUD
We will report credit card fraud to the relevant authorities of any attempted fraudulent order. Credit Card fraud in particular is a crime that is being committed daily over the internet.

Multiple Payment Methods: If for any reason you do not feel safe entering your credit card information on our site, please feel free to fax, mail or post your order to us.
