The Powerex Precharged MHR9VP Rechargeable 9.6V NiMH Battery is a package of 1x 9.6V nickel-metal hydride battery.

Powerex is comparable to Sanyo/Panasonic Eneloop

Unlike traditional NiMH batteries, the Powerex Precharged batteries can be stored for an extended period of time without substantial loss of power and are ready to use out-of-package. A common problem that plagues rechargeable batteries is that they need to be recharged about once every one to three months even if they are not used. This issue was tackled by developing advanced electrode materials to reduce the rate of power loss during storage. As a result, the Powerex Precharged batteries retain up to 85% of its charge even after one year of storage. The Powerex Precharged batteries are shipped pre-charged and ready to use.

The Powerex Precharged batteries differ from the competition in that they boast higher capacities as well as increased power retention in storage. The Powerex Precharged batteries can be recharged hundreds of times and perform extraordinarily well at elevated temperatures.
